FG extends NIN-SIM linkage by eight weeks

The Federal Government on Tuesday announced the extension of the ongoing National Identification Number (NIN) and Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) integration exercise by eight weeks,

The new deadline is now April 6, 2021.

Director, Public Affairs, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Ikechukwu Adinde, said in a WhatsApp message that the extension was conveyed by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami.

Adinde said that Dr Pantami conveyed the message during the meeting of the Ministerial Task Force on NIN-SIM registration which held on the 1st of February, 2021.
