Federal Minister of Women Affair’s niece kidnapped in Jos, 19 abducted in Niger State village

Gunmen on Monday kidnapped a niece to the Minister of Women Affairs, Mrs Pauline Talen.

Sources said that Dapit Karen, the Minister’s niece, was kidnapped at Rantiya Lowcost in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State, around 5am when residents were still sleeping.

The kidnappers didn’t go with the victim’s mother who was staying with her. And they have already contacted the family to demand N5 million naira ransom.

And in Kutunku Village in Wushishi Local Government Area of Niger State, 19 were kidnapped when gunmen arrived the community in the early hours of Monday, shooting to scare people.

The 19 include 11 males and eight females. Two of the females were to get married this weekend/

A source said that the gunmen beat up residents during the operation.

The kidnappers of the Niger 19 have not communicated with the families of the abducted yet.
