Buhari says IPOB still to be dealt with in language they understand, overwhelmed by Northeast terrorism

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday reiterated his earlier position that the secession bid and the violence of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) will be dealt with in the language they understand.

The President also admitted that the security challenges in the country particularly in the North East is quite enormous.

President Buhari, who spoke in an exclusive interview with Arise Television and aired on Thursday morning said: “I was almost overwhelmed by the security challenges in North East when we came on board. However, people residing in that geo-political zone of the country can attest to the progress being made so far since we came on board.”

President Buhari also gave kudos to the Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum for risking his life to improve security in the State.

Asked when the suspension/ban on Twitter will be lifted, the president replied: ‘I will keep that to myself.’
