Buhari celebrates with Saudi Arabia on Kingdom’s 91st National Day

President Muhammadu Buhari has extended Nigeria’s cordial greetings and message of congratulations to the Saudi Monarch and the Custodian of two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud and the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness,  Mohammed bin Salman,  on the occasion of the Saudi Arabian National Day.

The Saudi National Day is celebrated on September 23rd of every year.

In a statement by Presidential Spokesperson, Garba Shehu, President Buhari said he “deeply values the special relationship between our two countries which is based on cooperation and longstanding mutual support to each other.

“President Buhari stated that Nigeria remains firmly committed to the deepening of this special bilateral relations between our two nations, and is optimistic that this will continue to grow from strength to strength under the keen efforts of both leaders.

“The President expressed strong hope that “the robust ties between the two nations would be further cemented in the years ahead to cover the existing and new areas of common interests.”
