Twitter is DOWN! Thousands worldwide are hit with crash impacting both the social media network’s website and app

  • Twitter is down as of Monday, with issue reports surfacing around 12:50pm ET

Twitter is down for thousands of users worldwide who report issues with the website, app and logging into accounts. 

Problems began around 12:50pm ET on Monday and are impacting some users in the US,  the UK, New Zealand and other countries.

DownDetector, a website that monitors online outages, showed a huge spike in issue reports just after 12:30pm ET.

And by 12:52pm ET, more than 3,000 users in the US had reported problems with the social media network.
