Overpowered by Nigerian Army troops, terror bandits flee Zango, Zangon Kataf LGA, Kaduna State on Monday night

Terror bandits who plotted to attack residents of Zango Urban District of Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State were overpowered by Nigerian Army troops on Monday night.

Mallam Isa Tela, a resident of Zango town, said the people were going about their activities after Isha’i prayer, around 8:00pm, when they started hearing gunshots.

He said this created tension as the bandits surrounded the town.

“The gunshots started around 8:00pm somewhere around the town’s filling station before they surrounded the town from all angles before the military intervened and dispersed the attackers.”

He said there is no any reported case of death or a casual from the attack at the time of filing this report.

Last week, eight people were killed in bandits’ multiple terror attacks on Zangon Kataf communities.
