The terror bandits of Northwest Nigeria ignored the outrage of Nigerians over its gruesome killings, kidnapping and destruction as they invaded Kurawa village in Sabon Birni Local Government Area (LGA) of Sokoto State, killing three persons.

Sources confirmed that the attack took place few hours after Governor Aminu Tambuwal left the area. Tambuwal was in Sabon Birni (LGA) to pay condolence visit to the families of the travellers burnt to death by the bandits along Sabon Birni-Isa road on Monday.

He had announced a donation of N250,000 to each of the families.

Sources said that the terrorising bandits invaded the community around 8pm on Thursday, shooting sporadically.

“They came during late night prayer, shooting sporadically. They killed three of our people and injured several others who are currently in the hospital,” a resident said.

Spokesperson of the Sokoto Police Command, ASP Sanusi Abubakar, could not be reached for comments.
