Impunity: Nollywood Actor, Damola Olatunji, under Police custody after recording assault by Policemen

Nollywood Star, Damola Olatunji, is being detained at Area P Police Command in Lagos State after he recorded and uploaded the assault on one Timileyin Salawu, who is said to be his Personal Assistant.

Olatunji was arrested hours after he confronted Policemen whom he accused of assaulting his Personal Assistant.

The Actor had gone on Instagram Live on Monday to show the faces of the Policemen who allegedly assaulted him and his P.A. and seizing their phones.

According to Olatunji, the incident occurred in the Abule Egba area of Lagos State, where the Policemen forcefully took his phone while he was recording them and slapped his P.A.

He also accused the Policemen of extorting people of their “hard-earned money.”

The video was later deleted. But on Tuesday morning, the Actor sent a message that he was being detained at Ipaja, Police Command, Lagos State.
