Nigeria: One killed, 18 Abducted in Terror Bandits Fresh Chikun LGA Kaduna State Attack

One person have been killed and at least 18 persons, including women, abducted at Angwar Zalla Udawa in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The gunmen reportedly stormed the village along Kaduna-Birnin Gwari highway around 12:30am on Sunday.

A community leader in Udawa, Muhammed Umaru, who confirmed the incident to Daily Trust,‎ gave the name of the deceased as Bala Jaja.

He said married women, adults and young ladies were among those abducted.

No official reaction yet from the State government and the Police as calls to the state Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Jalige Mohammed, were unanswered.
