Reveal Hideouts of Terrorists, Bandits, Other Criminal Elements, Abuja National Mosque Chief Imam tells Nigerians

The Chief Imam of Abuja National Mosque, Dr Muhammad Kabir Adam, on Friday appealed to Nigerians to, as a matter of patriotic instincts, reveal the hideouts of bandits, terrorists, kidnappers and other criminals terrorising the country.

Dr Adam, who spoke to journalists shortly after the special Jumat Service organised in commemoration of 2022 Armed Forces Remembrance Day, said this would help the Armed Forces and other security agencies fighting insecurity.

”I call on all Nigerians to supply the significant information, intelligence information on the hideouts of criminals wherever they are. This is a support to our Armed Forces. Of course, when we do that, despite the fact that it is difficult, but we have to do it, to support them, so that they can carry out their works,” the cleric said.

Dr Adam explained that Friday’s prayer was set aside to remember Nigeria’s fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives in defence of the country’s territorial integrity and ensure peace returns to the land.

According to him, ”the prayers and the khutbah address all Nigerians to always pray for Armed Forces to succeed no matter the challenges. At the same time, the khutbah addresses the entire Nigerians to repent to do good in their lives, so that Allah in his infinite mercy, will now look at us in the eye of mercy to come to an end the security challenges we are facing in this country.

”Their success is our success. So, we pray to Allah (SWT) to strengthen the Nigerian Armed Forces as well as all other security agencies under the leadership of C-in-C, our President, Muhammadu Buhari to continue to strengthen him, increase his health and wisdom to continue to steering this country.”
