IPOB Links Senator Theodore Orji, Son, Others With Alleged Sponsorship Of Gunmen In Abia State, Says “Criminalities Going On In The South East Must Stop”

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Wednesday announced that it is making “consistent moves to restore peace and sanity in Abia State from the hands of cultists and criminals ravaging the State,” but stated that the criminalities going on in the South East region of Nigeria must stop.

Towards this, IPOB, in a statement by its Spokesperson, Emma Powerful, said “it is time we  expose those sponsoring the criminals and their crimes in the State of Abia, listing them as Chief Charles Ogbonna (Evuluogu Ibeku), RT Hon Ude Uko Chukwu and Chief Chimedum Orji (Ikuku), the son of the former Governor of Abia State, Senator Theodore Orji.

IPOB alleged in its statement that the “Deputy Governor of Abia State and  their master in crime Senator T. A Orji, the former Governor of Abia State, who encouraged them to recruit fake ESN members and cultists in the State of Abia State, these criminals are determined to unleash mayhem on our people in Abia State for political reasons.

“Anyone who knows these people whose names are mentioned above should advise them to retrace their steps because if they continue on this their evil and wicked part they shall definitely regret their actions.  IPOB will not warn them or mention their names again. Soon these monsters they created will turn their attention on them.

“IPOB has embarked on uprooting all cultist members and hoodlums in Abia state and will extend this action against cultists in Anambra State and the entire region. It is unacceptable to us for people destroying our region and claiming they are IPOB or ESN operatives, while in reality they are not.

“IPoB cannot attack or kill anybody because its not our mandate, claiming you are IPOB will destroy you if you don’t change and leave your evil doings. IPOB want the people of Abia State to help provide IPOB accurate information about those cultists, hoodlums and dissidents operating in their area for immediate action.

“We  enjoin people to be very discreet and watchful in providing their information because high profile individuals in the state sponsor these cultists and hoodlums in their desire to demonise IPOB and ESN. We have decided to sustain the fight against these criminals in the region.

“Anybody who is associating with and who knows these criminal groups in the region must inform them that IPOB is coming to visit them and their evil sponsors and they should therefore be prepared   for what is coming after them soon.

“IPOB is a peaceful movement seeking freedom through internationally recognised Civil Disobedience and cannot  allow Cultists and political thugs to be terrorising innocent citizens in the Biafra territory in other to discredit our heaven ordained struggle for freedom and liberty. We will not allow that nonsense to continue any more in our region. Those sponsors across the region your days are numbered.

“What T.A Orji and his family member Mazi Chimedum Orji during the time his father was governor of Abia State will not be forgiven because they wasted the commonwealth of our people and siphoned the funds that  accrued to Abia State and left the treasury empty starting from the time of Orji Uzor Kalu and that will not be forgiven too.”
