Honourable Dr Okechukwu Okoye, Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s townsman and member representing Aguata 2 in the Anambra State House of Assembly who was kidnapped six days ago has been beheaded by his abductors.
Both Dr Okoye, popularly known as Okey Di Okay and Governor Soludo are from Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area.
Sources said that Dr Okoye was driving in a black Sienna SUV when he was kidnapped.
Sources said that Okoye’s freshly beheaded head was mounted at Chisco Park in Amichi community.
Though other details of the circumstances that led to the beheading and mounting of the head of the lawmaker is still sketchy, reports of the death of Okoye has thrown Anambra State into anger and shock.
