After Ding-dong Marriage, Divorce That Went Sour, Fani-Kayode, Precious Chikwendu Settle Rift

After a protracted ding-dong love that went sour, all seems to be going well at the moment between Precious Chikwendu and Femi Fani-Kayode as the ex-Minister of Aviation allowed his ex-wife to reunite with their children.

Chikwendu has been in a legal tussle for the custody of her four children since her marriage with Fani-Kayode hit the rock in 2020.

The marriage had suffered set back over Chikwendu’s claim of domestic violence and Fani-Kayode’s counterclaim of infidelity.

Following the death the death of gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu due to alleged domestic violence, Precious released photos of her battery by his ex-lover husband.

It reached to the extent that she escaped being sent to prison after she was docked for cyberstalking over alleged defamation of character case brought by her husband’s friend, former Senator Grace Bent. She was arraigned before Justice Obiora Egwuatu at the Federal High Court, Abuja.

And the FCT Family Court sitting at the Magistrate District, Wuse Zone II, Abuja, even restrained Precious from making comments on the family and children.

But on Sunday, the mother of four appreciated the ex-aviation minister for allowing her to reunite with her children after a long custody battle.

Chikwendu also disclosed that Fani-Kayode now “has a change of mind and is working out a process for peaceful co-parenting as wars always have a long-lasting effect on both parties regardless.”

“The way to slay to a play date with your sons. 4eal_ffk. Nice,” she wrote in a post.

Chikwendu shared photos of some moments she enjoyed with her children.

“This is a win for us all, I have gone from not seeing them AT ALL for 2years to spending a few hours (Play Date) with them and also tending to one who wasn’t well as at the time I was reached,” she added.

“That is all that it is currently, but I believe their Father has a change of mind and is working out a process for peaceful co-parenting as wars always have a long-lasting effect on both parties regardless.

“Please be patient with me as I am basking in this little joy and win for a little longer as well as soaking it all in as I figure a way to put all issues to rest without drama.

“Thank you all so very much for the messages and well wishes. Thanks to my concerned elders.

“Their Father (through his aides) and some good people around him are in talks to see to it that my children grow up having balanced love and affection from both sides.

“I am hoping this leads to an end in media wars and to a peaceful co-parenting as we move on to achieve our various destinies apart.”

Fani-Kayode also put out a video to show that the pair may have settled their differences regarding co-parenting.

“My sons spent the day with their mother yesterday! What a beautiful sight it was! Love, peace, and joy all around! Thanks be to God. @snowhiteey, Thanks Mama Aragorn,” he wrote.
