18 Farmers Killed In Terrorists Invasion Of Dangulbi, Zamfara State

Eighteen people were killed when terrorists invaded farmlands in Dangulbi community in Maru Local Government Area, about 100 kilometres away from Gusau, the Zamfara State capital in Northwest Nigeria.

Sources confirmed that the invasion of the community occurred on Sunday 10 July 2022 when the terrorists, who are loyal to a notorious kingpin, Damina, attacked farmers while working on their farmland.

While 18 were confirmed killed by the locals, several others are still unaccounted.

The source noted that the notorious terrorist had demanded a sum of N2 million levy from the community to allow them to cultivate their farmland in the rainy season, which the people obliged.

The Police authorities have since deployed a reinforcement team to the area to restore calm and normalcy in the community and there is relative calmness in that axis.
