Emboldened Terrorists Threaten To Kidnap President Buhari, Governor El-Rufai, Kill Abuja-Kaduna Train Captives

Emboldened by the inability of Nigeria’s defence and security forces to deal a decisive blow to them, a terrorist group in North West region has threatened to kidnap President Muhammadu Buhari and the Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.

This threat is coming a few weeks after the terrorists attacked the President’s convoy in his home State of Katsina State.

The terrorists issued the threat in a fresh viral video where they were showcasing the flogging of some of the Abuja-Kaduna train captives.

The daredevil terrorists, who recently attacked the Kuje Prison in Abuja and freed their members serving their various jail terms or in detention before trial, had on March 28 kidnapped over 60 passengers of the Abuja-Kaduna bound train, are now threatening to kill those remaining in their custody.

They are also boasting of their capacity to destroy the country.

In the viral video, one of the terrorists said that unless the federal government meets their demands, they would turn the area into an abattoir.

According to the terrorists’ Spokesperson: “This is our message to the government of Nigeria and just as you have seen these people here, by God’s grace, you will see your leaders; your Senators and Governors will come before us.

“These ones you are seeing here, we will keep some as our slaves and sell them off just as our Imam told you in the past.

“Just like the Chibok girls that were sold off, we will equally sell these ones as slaves.”

“If you don’t adhere to our demands, we will kill the ones we need to kill and sell the remaining. By God’s grace, El-Rufai, Buhari, we will bring you here,” one of the terrorists further said in Hausa language.
