There is No Change Whatsoever In Our Position On The Flawed February 25 Presidential Election – Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Organisation

Today Monday 13th March 2023, Mr Peter Obi was on the Morning Show on Arise TV, were he answered questions, on Post Presidential Election developments, including his rejection of the declared results, and purported winner, by INEC, and his legal challenge therefrom.

In his response to a question, Mr Obi was emphatic on his condemnation of the process, under which the Election was conducted.

This is now being mischievously twisted as an acceptance of the declaration or outcome of the election in some conventional titles and social media forums, with The Punch Online leading the pack.

It is quite clear, that a compromised and incompetent process, cannot produce a legitimate or acceptable outcome.

It is also necessary to underline fundamentally the rejection of Mr Peter Obi, his running mate and the Labour Party /PCC the processes and conclusions arrived by INEC, with respect to the February 25th Presidential election, in totality.

Mr Peter Obi and the Labour Party remain convinced that the Election was carried out with disregard for law and due process, and with overbearing evidence of malfunctions, discrepancies, interference, intimidation, thuggery, alterations and criminality.

We would like to urge the Punch Newspapers online edition, and anyone else in doubt of our position, to seek clarification, if necessary, before presenting any possible misinterpretation.

Our position on the flawed elections of February 25th has not changed, and that is why we are in court.
