Former DHQ Director of Media Operations, Major General Bernard Onyeuko is Dead

Major General Bernard Onyeuko (rtd), former Director of Defence Media Operations (DDMO), Defence Headquarters Abuja is dead.

Sources confirmed that General Onyeuko died on Saturday morning after complaining of cold and was rushed to a private hospital.

He died at the hospital.

General Onyeuko was one of the senior officers who retired from the Nigerian Army following the recent appointment of new Chief of Defence Staff and Service Chiefs.

Another close friend to the deceased told PRNigeria that General Onyeuko was hale and hearty on Friday until he fell ill on Saturday morning and passed on.

In August 2021, Major General Musa Danmadami replaced General Onyeuko as DDMO following his redeployment to Defence Headquarters’ Department of Logistics as  Director Procurement.
