The Supreme Court has reserved judgement in the appeal by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, after hearing the submissions of the Counsels.
Meanwhile, the African Progressive Movement (APM) has however withdrawn its appeal challenging Tinubu’s election victory after the Supreme Court chastised its counsel for bringing frivolous appeal on an issue already decided by the Court.
Tinubu is now left with PDP and Labour Party (LP) appeals at the Supreme Court.
The seven-member panel of the Supreme Court led by John Okoro adjourned the case for judgement after taking the arguments of lawyers to parties in the suit.
Alongside Justice Okoro include Uwani Abba-Aji, Lawal Garba, Ibrahim Saulawa, Adamu Jauro, Tijjani Abubakar and Emmanuel Agim.
Chris Uche, SAN appeared for Atiku; Abubakar Mahmoud, SAN represented for the Independent National Electoral Election (INEC); Wole Olanipekun, SAN for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Akin Olujinmi, SAN represented All Progressive Congress (APC).
Justice Okoro said a date would be communicated to lawyers when the judgement is ready.
