Insecurity: Pope Francis Prays For Nigerian Over “Increasingly Frequent Kidnappings”

Head of the Roman Catholic Church, His Holiness Pope Francis, has prayed for Nigeria over the “increasingly frequent kidnappings” going on in the country.

The Pontiff, who spoke via his X handle, @Pontifex, call on the Nigerians authorities to work to contain “the spread of these incidents as much as possible.”

According to Pope Francis: “The increasingly frequent kidnappings in Nigeria are extremely concerning. I express my closeness in prayer to the Nigerian people, hoping that efforts will be made to contain the spread of these incidents as much as possible.”
