Yahaya Bello: IGP Withdraws All Police Aides, Escorts

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Olukayode Egbetokun, has withdrawn all Police officers assigned to the former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello.

The directive to immediately withdraw the Police personnel was contained in a signal issued from the Office of the Assistant inspector General of Police (AIG) Mobile Police (MOPOL), Force Headquarters HQ Abuja, to MOPOL 37, Lokoja, capital of Kogi State.

The signal “ordered the withdrawal of all men attached to His Excellency Yahaya Bello former Executive Governor of Kogi State.”

The order noted that the directive must be handled “in strict compliance” and with “utmost importance.”
