UK: Police Arrest 3 For Drugs, Weapons, Theft Of Mobility Scooter From A Vulnerable Person in Derbyshire

Officers from the Bolsover Safer Neighbourhood Team, United Kingdom (UK) were on patrol earlier this week, when they spotted a suspected drug deal taking place.

A team spokesperson said: “Prompt action and local knowledge resulted in two people being arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs, and possession of an offensive weapon.

“The team did not stop there, and another person was arrested from Bolsover on suspicion of a stolen mobility scooter from a vulnerable person, along with other theft and traffic offences.”

Officers from the Bolsover Safer Neighborhood Team were attending reports of nuisance children in Bolsover town centre, when they spotted a male using an e-scooter in the road.

A team spokesperson said: “When officers stopped him they recognised the male and knew he was wanted in relation to three shops thefts from a local shop. The Male was arrested and e-scooter was seized.

“The male has since been with three counts of theft, as well as been reported for using a motor vehicle without a licence and insurance”
