By Zagazola Makama

Following a series of military operations that resulted in significant losses for his group in Fakai and Shinkafi, notorious bandit leader Bello Turji is reported to have established a new camp in the dense forest located between Dutsi and Yan Buki, in eastern Moriki, Zamfara State.

Sources indicate that the camp is being used as a strategic base for regrouping Turji’s fighters, providing treatment for injured members, and holding kidnapped victims from recent attacks in Fakai, Kagara, and Maberaya.

Other bandits groups who escaped military onslaught are seeking refuge around Gidan Jaja, Mayasa and Kwashabawa.

Resident have been urged to report the movement of the bandits to security agencies.
