Officers are urging potential victims to come forward after three people were sexually assaulted by a 15-year-old boy.
United Kingdom (UK) Greater Manchester Police says the teenager has been charged with three counts of sexual assault and two counts of indecent exposure.
It follows an investigation into offences which took place in Trafford between February and June this year.
Three women reported being sexually assaulted, while GMP received two reports of someone exposing themselves.
The incidents are alleged to have taken place in Trafford and near to the Bridgewater Canal, in Sale a town in Trafford, Greater Manchester, England
The boy was arrested by police on Sunday (June 15) and appeared in court this week, where he admitted all five offences.
He cannot be named for legal reasons. The youth was released on bail, pending sentencing in August.
GMP believes there may be further victims, and the force is urging anyone who believes they may have been affected to come forward.
Inspector Scott Wolstenholme, of the Trafford North Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “In response to these reports, both high-visibility and covert patrols were deployed in the areas to try and catch the perpetrator.
“Extra officers will continue to patrol the areas to deter further incidents as we know reports of this nature will cause concern.
“We strongly encourage anyone who may have been the victim of a sexual assault or witnessed any of the incidents to contact us.”
