Egyptian National Dies At Abuja Hotel, Police Launch Investigation

An Egyptian national has died after slumping at a hotel in Abuja, Nigeria’s federal capital territory.

Sources told Zagazola Makama that he deceased, identified as Mohammed Saleh, 56, slumped while having dinner with three others at the Abuja Intercontinental Hotel, Wuse Zone 4, on Friday night.

The hotel’s Security Supervisor, Francis Yusuf, reported the matter to the Nigeria Police, Wuse Division at about 9:24 p.m. on Saturday.

“The victim was immediately rushed to Kings Care Hospital, Wuse Zone 4, and was later referred to Wuse District Hospital, where he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.

“The body has since been deposited at the hospital morgue for possible autopsy,” the sources said.
