UNIZIK Celebrates As 7 Female Law Graduates Earn First Class Honours At Nigerian Law School Exams

The Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, Anambra State is celebrating another remarkable academic milestone as seven of its Faculty of Law graduates emerged with First Class honours in the final bar examinations of the Nigerian Law School.

The all-female First Class Honours list includes Munachimso Fortunata Alex-Uzoatu (Kano Campus), Ajieh Jessie Chukwuamaka (Kano), Iheoma Ukwe (Kano), Nnukwu Chibundom Kaosisochukwu (Yenagoa), Chisom Arumeze (Yenagoa), Otu Emmanuella Adaora (Port Harcourt) and Ezeoka Ebube Precious (Enugu). 

A statement by the University said that “This outstanding achievement has further strengthened the university’s reputation for academic excellence and its consistent track record in producing high-performing graduates in the legal profession.

“The feat, described as both groundbreaking and inspiring, reflects the rigorous training and quality instruction offered by the Faculty of Law at UNIZIK.”

Reacting to the academic feats, the Dean, UNIZIK’s Faculty of Law, Professor Felicia A. Anyogu, noted that “such a performance not only highlights the intellectual capacity of the students but also underscores the Unizik’s commitment to maintaining high educational standards.”

Professor Anyogu further lauded the accomplishment as a testament to the university’s growing influence in legal education.

The Sub-Dean of the Faculty, Associate Professor Ejike Okaphor expressed confidence that “the success of these graduates will continue to elevate the profile of UNIZIK, while also motivating current and prospective students to strive for distinction in their academic pursuits.”
