IPOB/ESN kills Naval rating in Anambra State, injure 2 others

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) linked Eastern Security Network (ESN) has killed a Naval rating at their duty post along Owerri road, Idemili Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Two other naval ratings were wounded in the attack and are receiving treatment at a medical facility.

Sources said that the suspected member of IPOB/ESN, who were operating in a Sienna SUV boss, carried the attack on Sunday morning.

According to the source, “these IPOB/ESN criminals were operating in a Sienna SUV and attacked a Naval duty post along the Owerri road, in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

“Yes, the name of the Seaman that was killed is B Ibrahim. Also, two others who were wounded are receiving treatment in a military medical facility.  

“The IPOB/ESN criminals also carted away various weapons including 1 X GPMG,1 X AK-47 and 1 X FN riffle.”
