“Leave me alone because I am not Kannywood’s first divorcee,” Mansura Isah replies critics

Mansura Isah, the former wife of Kannywood star, Sani Danja, has taken a swipe at her critics over her divorce, warning them to steer clear of her personal affairs.

Mansura first debuted in the late 1990s before meeting her ex-husband, Danja, in the Kannywood industry. They however couple divorced in May 2021.

In an Instagram post in the Hausa language, the actress said: “I took new pictures of myself and shared them on my page.

“You people said that is why I left my marriage. I travelled to other places, you said that is why I left my marriage.

“You have to understand that I am not worried. I will do whatever pleases me. I don’t care how all of you feel or what you will say.

“Leave me alone because I am not Kannywood’s first divorcee.

”Allah has allowed for divorce in Islam so what is new? I see that some people even launched new social media pages just to criticise and abuse me. I don’t care.”

She added that some elderly people would go to her page just to abuse her.
