NAF airstrike pound terrorists camp, kill 11 in Batsari, Katsina State, Northwest Nigeria

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) aircraft has launched airstrikes in Katsina State, Northwest Nigeria, killing 11 terrorists.

The airstrikes, part of the Air Task Force operating in the region, terrorists’ camp at Garin Magaji and Gariyal villages, in the Batsari Local Government Area (LGA) of the State.

It was gathered that two fighter and attack jets of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) were involved in the raid.

A source said that the aggressive bombardments by the NAF jets at the weekend also led to the destruction of houses, suspected to be hideouts of the criminals.

“Those killed were members of the bandits’ camp led by one Audu Lunkai,” he said.
