COVID-19: Buhari to address Nigerians by 7pm

In an address that will dwell entirely on the fight against the Coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the country, President Muhammadu Buhari will broadcast to the nation Monday, April 13, 2020 at 7pm.

According to a statement by Presidential Sppokesperson, Mr Femi Adesina, “television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively for the broadcast.”

The President is expected to keep the lockdown order on the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Lagos and Ogun States in place while co-opting State governments to ensure the movement on restrictions in their areas are reinforced.
