Nigeria: Public, private businesses crumble in South East as IPOB enforces another Monday Sit-at-Home order

Public and public businesses in the South East region of Nigeria is crumbling as the major cities are deserted as residents observe the Sit-at-Home order being enforced by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Public and private businesses and offices are closed especially in Anambra State where IPOB have focused its attention in recent days which have triggered waves of killings, destruction.

Specifically, markets, banks and other offices were securely locked up with only sparse movements around the streets.

And despite the pronouncements of the various State Governments, they have not been unable to either counter the order by the outlawed IPOB or actively guaranteed the safety and protection of lives and property of indigenes and residents who chose to disobey the Sit-at-Home order.
