Obi Cubana says he’s “UNBROKEN” by EFCC’s detention, wife calls him ‘Resilient’

Socialite and billionaire businessman, Obi Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, says he is unbroken by his ordeal in the hands of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

In a one word statement on his social media page after his release on Tuesday afternoon, the businessman simply wrote: “UNBROKEN” alongside a photograph of himself.

News of Cubana’s release was first shared by his colleague and friend, Instigator PH via his Instagram page where he wrote: “Thank u Jesus!! @obi_cubana is free. We gat Jesus!!! Dis Dance is for all my fans. I love u all. Breakinh Newz. Obi Cubana is free. Confirmed by me, only 1 instigator. Give away loading.”

Obi Cubana was held and interrogated by EFCC officials on Monday, November 1 on allegations of money laundering and tax evasion.

Mrs Iyiegbu, Obi Cubana’s wife, also spoke about her husband’s detention.

Mrs Iyiegbu characterised her husband as a hardworking and resilient man on her Instagram page as she responded to the ordeal in the hands of EFCC.

Alongside a picture of Obi Cubana, the wife wrote: ”He is STRONG. He is RESILIENT. ”He is a HARD WORKER. He is a LEADER… and He is GREAT!”

“A man with a heart of Diamond. Nwoke ike! Odogwu m! We love you and we are solidly behind you. Even Jesus went through something worse than this so no stress.”
