Terror bandits continued their rampage in Northwest region of Nigeria, invading Tungar Ruwa village, Anka Local Government Area (LGA) of Zamfara State, killing the Village Head and eight other residents.
Sources confirmed that the terrorists stormed the village on Wednesday midnight and shot sporadically, causing residents to wake up and scamper for safety.
Sources noted that the assailants, on arriving the community, proceeded to the residence of the village head where they gruesomely slaughtered him.
Just last week, some terrorists invaded Rijiya community, Gusau LGA of Zamfara State, killing six residents and abducted several others.
This was about two weeks after bandits invaded Gurbin Baure community, Zurmi LGA of Zamfara State, in a midnight ambush, killing four residents and rustling several animals.
