ISWAP Kidnap 3 Over Killing of Top Commanders by NAF Bombardments, Drowning of 25 in Marte River

The Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) on Saturday kidnapped three persons in a retaliation ‘attack’ at Mandaragirau Village over the killing of its top Amirs and Commanders by Nigerian Air Force (NAF) airstrikes and the drowning of 25 of its fleeing fighters.

Sources confirmed that an impact assessment conducted at the raids in Marte revealed that Amir Abdulrahman of Abbaganaram, Imam Tujja, an Amir and Chief Imam of Bukar Mairam, Malam Ibrahim, Amir of Jubularam and Bakura Imar, a High ranking ISWAP Commander, were eliminated in the air strikes.

Another source also said that there is a mass relocation of ISWAP terrorists and their families which is “triggered by the sustained and successful air bombardment of ISWAP hideout and camps. Families of the terrorists especially women and children were being evacuated.”
