General Aliyu Gusau Loses Younger Brother, President Buhari Mourns

President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with Lieutenant General Aliyu Gusau (rtd) on the passing of Alhaji Tukur Mohammed Gusau, a younger brother to the former Minister of Defence.

In a message to General Gusau who was also a former Chief of Army Staff and former National Security Adviser (NSA), President Buhari described the deceased businessman as a rare blessing to his family and community.

‘According to the statement by Presidential Spokesperson,, Garba Shehu, President Buhari ssaid in his condolence letter that the late Alhaji Gusau “cared for everyone in a special way becoming a pillar of support and a prized asset to the family and community.

“My thoughts are with the family of the deceased and to you (General Gusau) as well as the government and people of Zamfara State.

”May Allah forgive him and grant him entry into Aljannah,.”
