Kano says its investigating spike in deaths allegedly liked to COVID-19

Kano State Ministry of Health says it is currently investigating the reported rise in the number of deaths in the State and would soon address it.

On Sunday morning, April 26, the Ministry via its Twitter handle, disclosed this while responding to a lady who asked what the Ministry is doing to address the numerous claims of multiple deaths in the State.

The Ministry says what is expected from everyone at this time, is prayers for the State.

As Nigeria continues to battle the Coronavirus pandemic, there have been several claims of mysterious deaths in the State within the last one week.

Twelve prominent citizens of the State died with ten hours in the State and over 600 deaths have been recorded mysteriously in the last one week.
