Abuja Man In Coma Over Daughter’s Pregnancy

Residents of the Pipeline area of Kubwa, Abuja, were on Monday evening thrown into panic after a man, Adeyinka Tunde, fell into coma after he learnt that their only 15-year-old daughter was pregnant.

Tunde’s wife, Abike, told Daily Trust that her husband, who is a hypertensive patient, was shocked and was unable to take the news as a lot had been invested on the girl.

Sobbing, Abike said: “When the news got to us, he couldn’t take it. He collapsed immediately and was rushed to Kubwa General Hospital, where he is recuperating.

“Being our only daughter, we expected better from her after investing so much. She attended one of the best schools in Kubwa.”
