Hoodlums Burn Down Akere Spare Parts Market Olodi-Apapa Lagos, Kill Security Man

Hoodlums on Wednesday morning burnt down the Akere market located in Olodi-Apapa Lagos.

Though details of the fire incident is still sketchy, a viral video shows smoldering fire still bellowing from the motor spare parts market which was completely razed.

A source noted that the fire incident might not be connected to the antics of previous elections in which the thugs, who are allied to a particular political party, used to frighten would-be voters who are perceived to vote outside their political preferences.

Sources blamed the fire on political thugs who are bent on instilling fears on Lagosians ahead of the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections which supporters of the All Progressive Congress (APC) are anchoring on winning under an anti-Igbo and other non-indigene platforms.

Men and women who owned stalls at the market were seen standing and bemoaning their plights, with some crying and sobbing.
