Nnamdi Kanu Needs Urgent Ear Surgery, Says Counsel

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is in urgent need of ear surgery, his Special Counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, said in a tweet on his official handle on Thursday night.

Ejimakor said that the Medical Unit of the Department of State Security Services (DSS), gave the recommendation to Kanu following his deteriorating health crisis.

The Special Counsel explained that one of his colleagues, Barrister Mandela Umegborogu, was informed of the development when he visited Kanu at DSS headquarters in Abuja on Thursday.

According to the tweet reads, “Today, my colleague, Barr Mandela Umegborogu visited Onyendu #MNK at the DSS.

“He informs that Onyendu directed me to make it public that the DSS Medical Unit has recommended urgent ear SURGERY for him.

“But what remains is the formal approval of the DSS leadership.”
