Nigeria: Unknown Gunmen Kill Female Student Of College Of Education, Billiri, Gombe State

Gombe State Police Command has confirmed the gruesome murder of a female student of College of Education, Billiri, Miss Yosi Yusuf, by yet to be identified assailants. 

This is coming barely 48 hours after the gruesome murder of 58-year old woman, Aishatu Abdullahi. 

Reports from Billiri revealed that the incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday at Zazzagawa quarters, in Billiri where the late Yosi Yusuf resided as an off campus student.

Sources confirmed that the late Yosi Yusuf was before her gruesome murder, a Third-year student of National Certificate in Education (NCE) and hailed from Baganje Town in Billiri Local Government Area (LGA) of the State.

The Gombe State Police Command, through its Spokesperson, ASP Mahid Muazu Abubakar, confirmed the incident, stating that an investigation is already underway with a view to arresting the assailants.

The body of the deceased has been deposited in the mortuary of the Billiri General Hospital until when the Police will complete discreet investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the crime as well as get the culprits.
