Troops Kill 13 IPOB Members

Troops of Joint Task Force South-East “Operation UDO KA” have neutralised 13 armed members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in the South East region of Nigeria.

The Task Force also said that they nabbed three kidnappers in the South-East.

Spokesperson of the Task Force, Lieutenant Colonel Jonah Unuakhalu, said in a statement on Monday in Enugu that the feat was in furtherance of the troops clearance operations to make the South-East safe and peaceful throughout the Christmas and New Year seasons.

Colonel Unuakhalu said that the Force Commander, Major General Hassan Dada, had called on all well-meaning citizens to continue to support the joint task force.

He said that citizens of the South-East can do this by providing timely, reliable and credible information.
