The Federal Government on Monday asked all Primary and Secondary Schools in the country to reopen August 4 to enable graduating pupils in Primary 6 and students in Junior Secondary School 3 (JSS 3) and Senior Secondary Schools 3 (SSS 3) to prepare and have their final year examinations.

It also announced that this year’s 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination would commence on August 17.

The PUNCH reports that this was contained in a statement on Monday signed by the Director, Press and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Education, Ben Goong.

In the statement titled, ‘Exit Classes To Reopen August 4th’, the ministry said the agreed dates were part of the resolutions reached after a consultative meeting with the education commissioners of the 36 states of the federation and other stakeholders.
