Senator Buruji Kashamu dies of COVID-19

Former controversial Senator from Ogun State, Buruji Kashamu, has died of COVID 19.

Kashamu, who served as a Senator representing Ogun East in the 8th National Assembly, was born on 19 May 1958 (age 62 years).

Senator Ben Bruce announced the death via his Twitter handle Saturday evening.

According to Senator Bruce, “I have just lost my good friend of forever to #COVID19. Until his death, Sen. Buruji Kashamu and I were inseparable. He died today at First Cardiology Consultants, in Lagos. May his gentle soul rest in peace. I pray his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear this heavy loss.”
