Breaking News: No Mass Retirement of Army Generals

The Nigerian Armed Forces have denied rumours that Army generals have been retired as a result of the appointment of the new Chief of Army Staff, Maj-Gen Farouk Yahaya.

The clarification was made on Thursday during the regular briefing by the Director of Defence Media Information, Brig-Gen Beard Onyeuko.
