Terrorists attack Police station in Bungudu, Zamfara State, Northwest Nigeria, kill one officer, cart away rifles

Terrorists operating in Northwest region of Nigeria early Friday morning attacked a Nigeria Police station in Bungudu Local Government Area (LGA) of Zamfara State, killing a Mobile Unit Officer and carting away rifles.

They also killed a local vigilante leader after a gun battle and two other people in Nahuce and Gidan Janbula communities of the LGA.

Sources confirmed that the terrorists had in the early hours of Friday invaded the Police station “in large numbers.”

They also abducted four persons away during the attack which lasted about an hours.
