Charity Maduka, wife of Coscharis boss, Cosmas Maduka, is dead

Mrs Charity Maduka, wife of Nigerian billionaire businessman who is President and Chairman of the Coscharis Group, Cosmas Maduka, is dead.

A family source confirmed that Mrs Maduka died on Sunday afternoon after suffering a stroke.

Late Mrs Maduka was the Vice-President of the Coscharis Group since its inception as the co-owner of the company.

Her husband, Cosmas Maduka spoke so highly of the wife, telling the Plus TV Africa in an interview that she had a great impact on him from the early days of his career.

According to him, when he met her, he was poor, adding that her parents who belonged to the upper class at that time, believed she was insane when she insisted on getting married to him.

Cosmas and Charity got married in 1977.  The union is blessed with three sons; Cosmas Jr Maduka, Jonathan Maduka, Peter K. Maduka and a daughter, Charity Ngozi Maduka.

Said he: “Despite all the hurdles, she stuck with me. This is the reason today, she owns a part of the company and has free access to the finances of the company.”
