Nigeria: 4 Shot Dead at Mining Site in Plateau State

The Plateau State Police Command has confirmed the fresh bloodshed in the State, affirming that four men were shot dead at a mining site in Dong village.

Plateau Police Spokesperson, ASP Gabriel Ubah, who confirmed the attack, said: “We are aware of the attack and four people were killed.

“The Command has deployed armed police men to the area and calm has returned.”

A community leader, Emmanuel Dong, said that a woman who survived the gun attack is receiving treatment in a hospital, adding that the attack occurred around 6pm on Saturday.
