One Soldier Killed As Gunmen Attack Peter Obi’s Community Agulu Town Hall, Anambra State

The reign of violence by gunmen continues unabated in Anambra State as they attacked the town hall of former Governor of Anambra State and Presidential aspirant on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi, killing a solider and injuring scores of people.

The gunmen attacked the Agulu town hall hours after attacking another location in the State.

Sources confirmed that the attack on the hometown of former Governor Peter Obi took place at about 3pm on Saturday, April 30, 2023.

In addition to the killing of the soldier at the town hall located along the Uga-Ekwulobia-Awka road in Agulu, Aniocha Local Government Area (LGA), the gunmen also set many of the vehicles parked within the premises and nearby ablaze.
