President Buhari Becomes Great-grandfather As Granddaughter Welcomes First Child

Nigeria’s President, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari has welcomed his first great-grandchild, voiceofnaija.ng reports.

His granddaughter, Aisha Mukhtar and her husband, Khalid Wambai, welcomed a baby girl recently.

Aisha, and Khalid got married in 2021, according to a popular fabric dealer, Cicada.

Cicada on Tuesday, 16 February, 2021, reposted photos of President Buhari with his granddaughter at her wedding.

“Picture of the President of the federal republic of Nigeria and his newly wedded granddaughter and her husband and the family,” the post reads.

Aisha is the daughter of Hajiya Fatima, President Buhari’s second daughter who is a board member of the Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Examiners of Nigeria (CIFCFEN).

Fatima, a mother of four got married to former Managing Director of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, Malam Gimba Yau Kumo in 2016 after her divorce with the father of her children. She is his 4th wife.
