Renowned clergyman, polemicist and broadcaster, Reverend Father George Ehusani will be the Guest Speaker at the 4th Annual Lecture of Just Friends Club of Nigeria (JFCN).
The event will hold on Friday, December 2, 2022 at A-Class Park & Event Centre, Kashim Ibrahim Way, Maitama, Abuja by 10 am.
A statement by the Just Friends Club of Nigeria’s President, Mr. Fred Ohwahwa, said the topic of Dr. Ehusani’s lecture is: “Beyond the 2023 Elections: That Nigeria May Be Saved.”
Reverend Father Ehusani is currently the Executive Director of Lux Terra Leadership Foundation— an organ for the training of future leaders of the Church and society in Nigeria.
He served as theological expert at the first Synod of Bishops for Africa in Rome in 1994. From 1994 to 2007, he was Deputy Secretary-General and later Secretary-General of the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria.
The Chairman of the 4th JFCN Annual Lecture is renowned columnist and publisher of 21st Century Chronicle, Mallam Mahmud Jega.
Before now, he was deputy Editor-in-Chief and Chairman, Editorial Board of Daily Trust newspapers.
The panelists are Professor Okey Ikechukwu, a Professor of Strategic Management and Human Capital Development at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and Mr. Imoni Mac Amarere, a media expert, author and humanist. Amarere, who is currently the Executive Director of DAAR Media Academy, was a Commissioner in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC.)
Other resource persons are Mrs. Zainab Mustapha Jaji, the Managing Director of SkillTensive Training and Development Company and Mr. Frank Tietie, a renowned legal practitioner and human rights activist.
Mrs. Jaji has over two decades of experience in agricultural processing, project management, human capital development and the financial inclusion space.
Mr. Tietie attended the University of Benin and Nasarawa State University, Keffi, where he holds degrees in Law and International Humanitarian Law, respectively.
JFCN is a socio-cultural organisation that fosters and encourages the spirit of oneness, companionship and comradeship amongst members and between the club and other friendly associations.
The club is also involved in recreation, sports and engages in acts of philanthropy in favour of the needy members of the society at large. Its members are professionals in engineering, communication, accounting, business, legal and other sectors of the economy.
