22-year-old Canadian Actor Dies After Spending $220,000 On 12 Plastic Surgeries To Play BTS’s KPOP Star Jimin For Upcoming U.S. Drama

– Saint Von Colucci died at a South Korean hospital on Sunday morning after suffering complications from jaw surgery on Saturday night

A 22-year-old Canadian actor has died after spending $220,000 on 12 plastic surgeries so he could play BTS‘s KPOP star Jimin for a US streaming network.

Saint Von Colucci died at a South Korean hospital on Sunday morning after suffering complications from the cosmetic procedures he had a few months ago.

His publicist told DailyMail.com he went into surgery on Saturday night to remove implants from his jaw that he had put in in November.

The young artist, he said, developed an infection from the implants, and due to complications he had been intubated and died hours later.

‘Its very tragic and very unfortunate,’ said his publicist Eric Blake, who had been working with the young actor since March of 2022.

He said Van Colucci had 12 cosmetic procedures over the last year including jaw surgery, implants, a face lift, a nose job, eye lift, an eyebrow lift, a lip reduction and some other minor surgeries.

He told DailyMail.com his client knew how risky the jaw implant surgery was, since they reshape your natural jaw and put implants in them, but he still wanted to get it.

‘He was very insecure about his looks,’ Blake said. ‘H had a very square jawline and chin and he didn’t like the shape of it because he thought it was too wide an wanted a V-shape, the shape many Asians have.’

Blake told DailyMail.com Colucci started filming the Korean Drama, ‘Pretty Lies,’ (Cogimar in Korean), in June and shooting was completed in December.

He played one of the main characters an international student.

Though he was unable to disclose too many details, he said the eight-episode show is set to air on a major US streaming network in October.

‘He was very very excited and worked really hard,’ Blake said and was hoping the show create some buzz to launch his music career.

He said Colucci came to South Korea in 2019 to try to get into the music industry. A firm brought him over and paid for his housing, transportation, living expenses. He said he was under a seven-year contract with him.

Though Colucci’s striking features included dark blonde hair, blue eyes and a frame that stood 6 feet tall and 182-pounds, Blake said he was ‘very unhappy about his appearance.’

‘He was very insecure about his face,’ Blake said. ‘It was very hard from him to get a job in South Korea and he felt very discriminated against his Western looks.’
